Sodium alginate Sodium bicarbonate Calcium carbonate What is this product?
Each 10ml of oral suspension contains 500mg sodium alginate, 267mg sodium
bicarbonate and 160mg calcium carbonate as the active ingredients. This
product is sugar free and gluten free. You can take this product if you are
pregnant or breast feeding. Ingredients Each 5 ml dose contains 250 mg sodium
alginate, 133.5 mg sodium bicarbonate and 80 mg calcium carbonate.

For oral administration. Adults and children 12 years and over: 10-20 ml after
meals and at bedtime, up to four times per day.Children 6 to 12 years: 5-10 ml
after meals and at bedtime. Safety Warning Each 10 ml dose has a sodium
content of 141 mg (6.2 mmol). This should be taken into account when a highly
restricted salt diet is recommended. e.g. in some cases of congestive cardiac
failure and renal impairment.Each 10 ml dose contains 160 mg (1.6 mmol) of
calcium carbonate. Care needs to be taken in treating patients with
hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent calcium containing renal
calculi.If symptoms do not improve after 7 days, the clinical situation should
